Hey dudes! I hope you’re still searching for someone to fill this position!
A little about me:
I’m a recent mechanical engineering graduate from UF, and I’m currently abroad in Germany doing an internship. I’ve been a cyclist throughout my college experience, and worked in 3 bike shops for the better part of 5 years to help pay the bills (yay Ramen!).
I have a lot of experience with rapid prototyping, particularly Stratasys Dimension machines/software, as well as with Dassault SolidWorks (I spent my senior year designing a mechanism for Harris Corporation, and we printed out all the structural components. You can check out my LinkedIn for details). I’m also lathe and vertical mill trained.
I also truly appreciate product design, especially with bikes. As a mechanic, I always was thanking the unknown person who decided that a bolt would be angled so I wouldn’t have to risk scratching a frame with a wrench. The end-user experience is key to design, and I implement that philosophy on all projects.
You guys seem to have a good team going, and if you’re looking for an enthusiastic mech-e to join up, I’m your guy!
If you want to contact me, email me at dharcha1@gmail.com! I’d be glad to hear from you!
