Unboxing
1. Remove bike and accessories from box
Pull the bike up and out of the box.
There will be a couple items that are not attached to the bike, pull these out of the box.
2. Remove all packaging from bike parts
Use wire cutters to cut all zip ties.
Remove packaging carefully by cutting tape with scissors.
3. Separate out and identify all included parts
Frameset without front wheel
Front Wheel
Seatpost attached to saddle
A small box containing:
- Pedals
- Bag with cable tip and reflectors
- 2x Fortified Security Keys
- 1x Wheel Unlocking Key
- Bag with cable guide
- User manuals for Shimano and Tektro components
If you also purchased lights, fenders, or a rack you will find additional materials in your box.



4. Tool Checklist
Comes in the box:
- 2x Fortified Security Key
- 1x Wheel Unlocking Key
- Instead of the Wheel Unlocking Key above, you may have received the shop tool, which is used with one of the following: 3/8" open ended wrench, 3/8" torque wrench, or adjustable wrench.
Additional tools provided by you (required for assembly):
- Allen key set
- Wire cutters
- Grease pouch
- 15mm open end wrench
- Flathead screwdriver
- Adjustable wrench (for new wheel nut tool)
Provided by you (recommended):
- Bowl (to place loose nuts and bolts in during assembly)
- Something to wipe your hands on (paper towel or rag)
- Bike pump
- Latex Gloves
